Expira ("the app") is designed so that your data stays with you. This policy explains what the app does — and does not — do with your information.
None. Expira does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no tracking.
Products, dates, notes and photos you add are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app deletes this data.
The camera and photo library are used solely to attach product photos and to read expiration dates. All text recognition runs on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Images are never uploaded anywhere.
Expiry reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push servers are involved.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription infrastructure provider, RevenueCat, receives an anonymous purchase identifier to validate your subscription. It is not linked to your identity. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
