FastInvo Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 26, 2026
Data We Store On Your Device
FastInvo uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store the following locally, on your device only:
- Client/customer information you enter — names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers
- Invoice line items, quantities, prices, taxes, discounts, and totals
- E-signatures you or your clients capture within the app
- Your company name, contact details, and logo
- Recurring invoice schedules and templates
None of this data is transmitted to us, to a cloud service, or to any third party. There is no backend server for app data, and no iCloud/CloudKit sync. It stays on the device where you created it.
Voice Input & On-Device Speech Recognition
FastInvo lets you dictate a client's details or an invoice's line items instead of typing them. This feature uses
Apple's Speech framework configured to require on-device recognition (requiresOnDeviceRecognition = true).
Your voice is processed entirely on your device — it is not sent to Apple's servers or to us. Microphone and
speech-recognition permissions are requested only when you choose to use this feature.
Camera & On-Device Scan-to-Invoice
FastInvo can scan a paper invoice with your camera and turn it into an editable draft, using Apple's Vision framework for on-device text recognition (OCR). The photo you scan and the extracted text are processed entirely on your device and are not uploaded anywhere. Camera access is requested only when you use this feature.
Photo Picker for Logo
When you add a company logo, FastInvo uses Apple's system photo picker (PHPicker). This picker runs outside the app and only hands over the single photo you select — the app is never granted broad access to your photo library, and no photo-library permission prompt is required or shown.
The One Exception — Purchases via RevenueCat
FastInvo offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and managed with the help of RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service.
When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous, RevenueCat-generated app user identifier (not your name, email, or Apple ID — we do not set a custom identifier that would tie this to your real identity)
- Purchase and subscription transaction data (what was bought, price, renewal status) needed to validate your receipt and activate your entitlement
RevenueCat uses this information solely to manage entitlement/subscription status for the app. No client data, invoice data, signatures, or other content you create in the app is ever sent to RevenueCat or to us.
RevenueCat's own privacy practices: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy (verify current link at submission time).
Data Retention & Deletion
- You can delete individual invoices, clients, or other records at any time from within the app.
- Removing the app from your device permanently erases all locally stored data (clients, invoices, signatures, logo, schedules), since there is no server-side copy anywhere.
Children's Privacy
FastInvo is a business tool for creating invoices. It is not directed at, marketed to, or designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because your client and invoice data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us, most data-subject rights (access, deletion, portability, correction) are moot with respect to that data — FastInvo simply never has a copy of it. You control that data entirely through the app or by deleting the app.
For the limited purchase data sent to RevenueCat, you may contact RevenueCat directly regarding your anonymous purchase record, or contact us below and we will assist to the extent we are able.
Residents of the EU/EEA (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) retain all rights afforded under those laws with respect to any data actually processed on our or our partners' behalf, as described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
