Moored has no accounts and no sign-up. Your attachment test results, spiral logs, drafts and chat history are stored only on your device. We run no analytics and no ads, and we do not sell data.
Two features send text to our server for AI processing, only when you actively use them:
This text is forwarded through our server to an AI provider (OpenRouter, Inc.) to generate the response. We do not store this text on our server. It is not linked to your identity — Moored has no user accounts and sends no identifiers with these requests. Do not include information in these features that you don't want processed.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Purchase state is verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.
Everything lives on your device. Settings → "Erase everything" deletes all app data permanently. Deleting the app does the same.
Moored is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Moored is for fun and self-reflection. Attachment style results are not a psychological assessment, and Buoy is a fictional character, not a professional of any kind.
