Sundown is built so that what you drink stays on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours that your caffeine log is sent to.
All of it is written to a single file inside the app's own storage on your iPhone, shared only with Sundown's own widget. Deleting the app deletes it.
If you connect Apple Health, Sundown writes the caffeine you log into Health and reads caffeine other apps have written, so your curve stays accurate across apps. Health data is read and written on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can withdraw access at any time in the Health app.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
To know whether your subscription or lifetime purchase is active, Sundown uses RevenueCat, Inc. as a purchase-verification service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation together with the purchase receipt Apple issues. It does not receive your name, email address, caffeine log, or Health data. Sundown is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Because your log never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to export or erase on your behalf. Deleting the app removes it. For purchase records, contact Apple Support or write to us below.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
