Migraine and headache diary for iPhone

Write to hemra@appfactory.dev with anything: a bug, a question, a feature you need for your own appointments. Please say which iPhone and which iOS version you are on — it usually halves the back-and-forth. Replies normally come within two business days.

The questions that come up most

Where is my data?

On your phone, and nowhere else. Hemra has no account and no server. If you delete the app the diary goes with it, so keep an iPhone backup if the record matters to you.

I changed phones and my records are gone.

Restore the new phone from an iPhone backup that includes Hemra. Because nothing is stored on a server, a fresh install starts empty — there is no cloud copy to sign into.

The weather column is empty.

Air pressure is only fetched when you allow location access, in iOS Settings → Hemra → Location. Without it the rest of the diary works exactly the same.

I paid, and the app still asks me to.

Open the purchase screen and tap Restore, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.

How do I cancel the subscription?

iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hemra. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the period you paid for ends. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. The app produces a PDF report for your doctor and a spreadsheet of the raw records, both from the Reports screen. They are yours to keep or send wherever you like.

Is this a diagnosis?

No. Hemra is not a medical device. It records what you enter and counts it — including your medication days against the published ICHD-3 §8.2 thresholds — so that you can discuss it with a clinician. It never suggests a medicine or a dose.
