Blyp is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of it. What follows adds only what is specific to Blyp.
A tool for recording what you spend, on your own device. It is a notebook that does arithmetic.
Blyp is not financial advice. It does not connect to your bank, does not move money, and nothing it shows you is a recommendation. Decisions about your money are yours.
Blyp reads what you say, type or photograph and works out the amount, the merchant and the category. It gets this right most of the time and wrong some of the time — a misheard word, an unusual receipt layout, a category that could reasonably be two things. Every entry is editable for that reason. You are responsible for checking that your ledger says what you meant it to say, particularly if you use it for tax, expenses or anything else that matters.
Blyp is free to use. Blyp Plus is an optional purchase that unlocks additional features; the price, duration and renewal terms are shown in the app before you buy. Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings at any time. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.
Everything you record stays on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. Blyp keeps no copy, so we cannot restore your ledger if you delete the app or lose the device. If your history matters to you, keep the device backed up.
Don't attempt to decompile, resell or redistribute the app. Beyond that there is nothing to abuse: there is no account, no shared content and no other user to affect.
Blyp runs entirely offline and does not depend on a service we operate, so there is nothing for us to take down. Features that depend on Apple's own technologies — on-device speech recognition, text recognition, and the assistant that needs Apple Intelligence — are available only where Apple makes them available, and on hardware that supports them.
Blyp is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including decisions taken on the basis of figures it displayed. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
These terms may change with new versions of the app. The date at the top will change with them.
