Juniper Terms of Use

Effective date: 17 August 2026

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Juniper (the "App"), provided for iPhone and Apple Watch. By downloading, installing, or using Juniper, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Juniper is

Juniper is a bladder diary and 12-week pelvic floor exercise and journaling program designed for women 45 and older.

Juniper is an exercise and journaling tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or predict any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any health condition, including urinary incontinence or pelvic floor concerns.

Juniper is not a medical device and has not been evaluated or cleared as one by the FDA or any equivalent body. Do not use Juniper as a substitute for, or to delay seeking, professional medical care. If you experience severe, worsening, or concerning symptoms, contact a healthcare provider or emergency services as appropriate.

2. Eligibility

Juniper is intended for adult users and is not directed at children. By using Juniper, you represent that you are using it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Your account and your data

Juniper does not require or offer a user account, login, or password. All diary entries, exercise history, symptoms, and notes you create are stored locally on your device, as described in our [Privacy Policy](./privacy-policy.md). You are responsible for your device and for backing up your data (e.g., via iCloud device backup, an Apple system feature) if you want a backup beyond your device.

Because Juniper stores your content only on your device, we cannot recover your data if you delete the app, lose your device, or otherwise lose access to it, unless you have your own device backup.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Juniper offers the following purchase options, processed through the Apple App Store and managed via our subscription-management partner, RevenueCat:

| Plan | Price (US) | Trial |

|---|---|---|

| Monthly | $3.99/month | 7-day free trial |

| Yearly | $19.99/year | 7-day free trial |

| Lifetime | $39.99 one-time purchase | No trial — not a recurring subscription |

Pricing outside the US follows Apple's price tiers for your local App Store storefront and currency.

Auto-renewal terms

Refunds

All purchases are billed through Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policies — Juniper's developer cannot directly issue refunds. Request a refund at [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com) or via Settings on your device.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or misuse the App, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

6. Disclaimers

JUNIPER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY EXERCISE PROGRAM WILL PRODUCE PARTICULAR RESULTS, OR THAT USE OF THE APP WILL PREVENT, IMPROVE, OR CURE ANY MEDICAL CONDITION.

Juniper makes no claim of medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic efficacy. Exercise programs may not be appropriate for everyone; consult a healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you have a pre-existing health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juniper's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App.

8. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Juniper after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
